Stratasys customers cover a broad spectrum, from small businesses to multinational corporations. The U.S. government is a customer too, using Stratasys 3D printers in Veterans Affairs hospitals and the Naval Air Systems Command to name just two examples. So as a government supplier, it makes sense that Washington, D.C., is one of the destinations for the Experience Stratasys truck tour.
If you’re unfamiliar with our truck tour, it’s a mobile showroom for Stratasys 3D printing technology. The rolling exhibit journeys across the U.S., giving visitors an up-close look at our additive manufacturing solutions and how they enable customers to solve problems across a wide range of industries and applications.
While the truck was in Washington, United States Representative Dean Phillips stopped in for a closer look. The mobile showroom often gives people their first hands-on exposure to 3D printing technology and how it can be used to create in a better way, usually faster and more cheaply than traditional forms of manufacturing. That was the case for representative Phillips as he surveyed the exhibits. You can listen to his remarks about the impressive array of possibilities AM technology affords in this brief video.
You don’t have to be a government official to gain access to the Experience Stratasys tour. It’s open to anyone interested in seeing firsthand what 3D printing can achieve. If you’d like to find out if and when the truck might be near you, visit the Experience Stratasys Tour web page, where you can see upcoming locations and schedule a visit. If you’re new to 3D printing or Stratasys technology, the Experience Stratasys exhibit is a unique and convenient way to get acquainted.
