At Stratasys Direct, innovation drives everything we do. As a leader in 3D printing services, we are committed to adopting cutting-edge technology that enhances our capabilities and delivers unmatched value to our customers. Our focus on continuous improvement ensures that we stay ahead of the curve, enabling us to provide faster, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions to various industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical, and consumer goods.
Recently, we implemented state-of-the-art automated resin removal solutions from PostProcess Technologies, transforming our post-processing workflow. This strategic investment not only streamlined our internal operations but also translated into significant benefits for our customers, including reduced costs, improved lead times, and consistent quality.
Our Tucson facility specializes in Stereolithography (SLA) and Programmable Photopolymerization (P3™ DLP) technologies. As resin-based technologies, these AM processes require the removal of resin material from 3D-printed parts post build.
Previously, manual resin removal methods presented challenges such as labor-intensive workflows and production slowdowns. To enhance safety and efficiency, we adopted the PostProcess™ DEMI 4100 and DEMI 830 systems. These automated solutions, combined with a non-flammable detergent, have significantly improved our resin removal process, reducing the risk of accidents and increasing overall productivity.
The introduction of these advanced resin-removal systems from PostProcess has resulted in significant improvements that directly benefit our customers:
At Stratasys Direct, we understand that adopting advanced technology is about more than just improving internal operations—it’s about delivering value to the people we serve. By staying at the forefront of innovation, we ensure our customers receive the highest level of service, benefiting from faster lead times, cost savings, and superior part quality.
This investment in automated resin removal technology is just one example of our ongoing efforts to enhance our capabilities and support our customers’ success. Whether it’s addressing complex part geometries, scaling production, or meeting stringent quality standards, Stratasys Direct continues to lead the way in additive manufacturing excellence.
Headquartered in Colorado, PostProcess Technologies specializes in automated post-processing solutions for 3D printed parts. Their innovative technologies streamline the often tedious and labor-intensive final stage of additive manufacturing, enabling manufacturers to produce high-quality, finished parts efficiently and at scale.
