Stratasys FDM 3D printing materials are used to create parts used in a variety of environmental conditions.
To evaluate the impact of exposure to these conditions, FDM materials were exposed to UV light and humidity within a QUV environmental test chamber to imitate the damage from sun and rain. The change in material color and mechanical performance was compared between control samples and those that experienced UV exposure.
