The J5 DentaJet offers immense versatility for dental labs. And now, with a recent update, the printer can be used in High Quality Speed Mode or High Quality High Speed Mode. This update is available free of charge to all J5 DentaJet customers.
What are the applications and benefits of each?
High Quality Speed Mode
In this standard configuration for the J5 DentaJet, labs can print with five different materials and support, utilising all 6 material cartridge slots. The materials that labs can choose from include five Vero materials that print the full spectrum of colour, which allows for unmatched full-colour modelling. It also includes the three biocompatible materials that are cleared for up to 24 hours of in-mouth placement.
For example, a lab could load all three biocompatible materials plus two colours and is able to colour code models. This mode can be useful for creating implant models, gingiva masks, and surgical guides as part of full implant cases.
High Quality High Speed Mode
This mode allows labs to double printing speed with no change in accuracy, so customers can scale up their production.
In this configuration, labs can load two materials plus support to create mixed-material trays.
For example, a lab could use High Quality High Speed Mode to create opaque, white implant models and transparent, biocompatible surgical guides on the same tray at double the speed that was possible in the past.
That’s what we call a win-win.
